I textured the bonca a little bit. To see how luxrender came along, I couldn't resist. I let it render for 4 minutes and adjusted light and contrast with gimp.

Bonca #1: Dilay

Since everybody is waiting for blender 2.8 and I refuse to work with 2.79 any more I wanted to sculp somthing. After blender 2.8 crashed a few times, I was looking for alternative sculpting tools and found "Dilay", and made a sketch of a creature long forgotten.

This is a creature from "War Wind" called Bonca. I may remesh the model in blender one day.

Refurbishment of an Ibanez TH300 dynamic microphone

I bought an Ibanez TH300 for 1€ on the local flea-market.

All parts need to be cleaned separately without water. The cage is scrubbed of with a wire brush

and the housing is sanded until there is only metal left. The membrane of the capsule is only cleaned by air to prevent damaging the free moving coil of the diaphragm.

The rubber bouncers are sprayed with silicone spray to make them smooth again. Everything out of metal is covered with derust liquid, and then polished until everything is nice and shiny again

Before painting, the parts are checked to be dry and fat-free. After 2 layers of black spraypaint tape can be used to generate a funky pattern on the housing. To prevent drops of paint on the cage, only very thin layers of paint are applied.

A new windshield is cut out of thin foam. This needs a little try and error but worked great for me.

After putting the parts back together we have an nice looking, and working dynamic microphone again.

 Recycling ist im Trend und deswegen hab ich schon schon Leute gesehen welche neue Paletten kaufen um daraus etwas zu bauen.

Das sind hindoch Paletten aus den wilden 80iger welche wirklich gut gedient haben bevor sie bequem wurden.

Rahmen für den Tisch

Diese Paletten waren selbst in unseren Diensten schon in 3 Bars und in einer kleinen Hütte verarbeitet.

Nach dem abschleifen kann man die Möbel mit Öl abreiben um die Maserung richtig zur Geltung kommen lassen.

Danke an die treuen Paletten. Ich bin gespannt was sie als nächsters werden.

Rouge-Grafik in 3D

Angefangen hat alles 2012 als Manuel anfing Comics von Locz Grip zu zeichnen. Besonders schön fand ich "Rouge"

Das Comic trifft den Original-rouge perfekt und ich konnte es nicht lassen mit dem 2D Konzept als Vorlage es in 3D umzusetzen.

Ich brachte ihn in Form, grundierte ihn mit 3 Schichten weißen Universal-lack und danach kolorierte ich das Model mit Nagellack.
